About the Role

Gorgias is seeking a seasoned VP Marketing to lead the charge in elevating its story and transforming the ecommerce industry. As a key member of the leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that showcases the company's Conversational Commerce platform. With a strong focus on GTM and Excel skills, the VP Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth and adoption.

The role entails working with a global team, collaborating with product, sales, and customer success to launch new products and capabilities. The VP Marketing will also be responsible for building a content engine that powers enablement, storytelling, and thought leadership. With a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making, the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ecommerce landscape and the ability to drive market impact.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that showcases Gorgias' Conversational Commerce platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth and adoption
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including merchants, partners, and industry thought leaders
  • Define clear, differentiated positioning and messaging across the Gorgias product portfolio
  • Educate merchants on the benefits of Conversational Commerce and how to implement it
  • Partner with Product and Sales to launch new products and capabilities
  • Build a content engine that powers enablement, storytelling, and thought leadership
  • Distribute the product narrative through events, webinars, and other marketing channels
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategy
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective ROI

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on ecommerce and AI
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies
  • Strong understanding of GTM strategy and Excel skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to drive market impact and adoption
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills
  • Experience with content creation and storytelling
  • Knowledge of the ecommerce landscape and industry trends
