About the Role

As a VP Marketing at Gorgias, you will be responsible for owning the narrative and positioning of the company's Conversational Commerce platform. Your mission will be to make Gorgias synonymous with AI-driven customer and sales conversations, defining the category, crafting the story, and driving adoption across all segments. You will work closely with the product and sales teams to launch new products and capabilities, and build a content engine to power enablement, storytelling, and thought leadership.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive growth and adoption of Gorgias' Conversational Commerce platform
  • Define clear, differentiated positioning and messaging across the Gorgias product portfolio
  • Partner with Product and Sales to launch new products and capabilities
  • Build a content engine to power enablement, storytelling, and thought leadership
  • Distribute the product narrative through events, including the company's customer conference
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget to ensure effective use of resources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategy
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including merchants, partners, and industry influencers

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on GTM strategy and product marketing
  • Proven track record of success in driving growth and adoption of new products and technologies
  • Expertise in Excel and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of the ecommerce industry and market trends
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams and budgets
