Job Description

About the Role

The VP of Hotel Technology Sales will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding Aquiva Labs' presence in the hospitality technology sector. This is a hunting role that requires a strong network and a deep understanding of the industry, as well as the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. The successful candidate will report directly to the SVP of Revenue and Growth and will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that drive results.

As a key member of the sales team, the VP of Hotel Technology Sales will collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including marketing, account management, and customer success, to ensure a cohesive and effective go-to-market strategy. This will involve working closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and messaging, as well as with the account management team to ensure seamless customer onboarding and support.

The role will also involve staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and developments, including the adoption of cloud-based solutions and data integration. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage this knowledge to inform sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand Aquiva Labs' presence in the hospitality technology sector
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including prospecting and lead generation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including marketing, account management, and customer success
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage and forecast sales budgets, track leads, and manage contacts
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Represent Aquiva Labs at industry events and conferences to build relationships and generate leads
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the hospitality industry
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and developments, including the adoption of cloud-based solutions and data integration
  • Refine sales strategies based on industry trends and customer feedback
  • Hit or exceed given sales quotas and embody the company's core values

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience selling hotel technology solutions
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding sales presence
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including key trends and developments
  • Experience with sales methodology, such as MEDDIC, Sandler, or Challenger
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Google for Business Products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel to industry events and conferences as required

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling PMS, CRM, or data integration solutions at the enterprise level
  • Familiarity with AWS and its capabilities
  • Experience with AI chat, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish)
