About the Role

The VP of Preneed Sales and Marketing will play a critical role in driving the success of AmeriLife's preneed sales and marketing efforts. This position will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with funeral homes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing new prospects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success in the insurance industry.

The VP of Preneed Sales and Marketing will work closely with the COO to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, and will be responsible for managing a team of sales and marketing professionals. This role will require a high level of organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Build and maintain relationships with funeral homes and other partners
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Develop and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals
  • Analyze sales and marketing data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the COO to develop and implement business plans
  • Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure effective use of resources
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that sales and marketing teams have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong background in the insurance industry, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales and marketing data and identify trends and opportunities
  • Experience with Excel and other software applications
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as marketing or business

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM software and other sales and marketing tools
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Certification in a related field, such as insurance or marketing
