About the Role

The VP of Product at Pharos Systems International Inc is a senior individual contributor role that requires executive judgment and the ability to drive the direction of Pharos Cloud, the company's cloud-native platform. This is a doing role, not a directing role, where the successful candidate will be responsible for owning the product strategy, roadmap, and direction, without waiting for instructions. The role reports directly to the CEO and offers full product authority from day one.

As a key member of the leadership team, the VP of Product will be expected to bring ideas, not just manage delivery. This is an opportunity for a seasoned product professional to make a significant impact on the company's growth and direction. With a lean team and no bureaucracy, the successful candidate will have the autonomy to move fast and drive results.

The company is in the middle of a meaningful transition from a legacy on-prem install base to a cloud-native platform, offering significant whitespace ahead.

What You Will Do

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and direction of Pharos Cloud
  • Originate plans and recommendations for the company's most important new revenue bets
  • Develop and maintain direct relationships with key enterprise customers
  • Lead the full product development cycle from discovery through launch and iteration
  • Collaborate with engineering on real architecture decisions
  • Communicate product decisions and plans to stakeholders across the company
  • Drive technical conversations and push back when necessary
  • Talk to customers directly and regularly to inform product decisions
  • Lead with the point, providing short, specific, outcome-first updates
  • Use AI to extend output and produce at a level that would require a larger team otherwise

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management with meaningful senior experience
  • Experience owning a product through a complete lifecycle, from discovery to iteration
  • Ability to connect product decisions to revenue outcomes, such as ARR, retention, expansion, or pricing
  • Experience working at a company under 300 people and thriving in a lean, fast-moving environment
  • Evidence of technical depth, with experience working directly with engineering on architecture decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders
  • Experience using AI in product management to extend output and drive results

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-native platforms and PrintOps
  • Knowledge of the current trends and technologies in the B2B SaaS industry
  • Experience working with a PE-backed company
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
