About the Role
The VP Sales Strategy & Solutions will play a crucial role in leading the development of sales strategy and customer-facing solutions for CBC Companies. This role entails working closely with sales leadership and frontline sellers to operationalize sales strategy, design structured methods for guiding prospects through presales, and developing illustrative models and conceptual frameworks. The successful candidate will be part of a team that is passionate about leveraging digital skills and remote work expertise to drive business growth.As a key member of the sales team, the VP Sales Strategy & Solutions will be responsible for designing and implementing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and customer engagement. This will involve collaborating with internal teams to layer in future state improvements, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled enhancements. The role will also require working closely with cross-functional teams, including Strategy, Product, Marketing, and Technology, to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with business objectives.
The VP Sales Strategy & Solutions will report to the sales leadership team and will be expected to provide strategic guidance and support to the sales team. This will involve serving as a trusted advisor on how to position emerging capabilities, particularly AI, in a credible and pragmatic manner.
What You Will Do
- Partner with Sales leadership and frontline sellers to operationalize sales strategy
- Develop illustrative models, diagrams, and conceptual frameworks to support sales strategy
- Act as a strategic extension of the sales team to design structured methods for guiding prospects through presales
- Translate customer-provided inputs into low-code/no-code workflow representations
- Collaborate with internal teams to layer in future state improvements, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled enhancements
- Serve as a translator of AI concepts and explain how AI, data, and automation can be practically applied to customer use cases
- Partner with Strategy, Product, Marketing, and Technology teams to ensure AI offerings are market-ready, customer-understandable, and executable
- Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap and packaging based on customer insights uncovered during the sales process
- Collaborate with Technology teams to validate feasibility and execution pathways for proposed solutions
- Support go-to-market initiatives by ensuring product concepts are demonstrated in ways that resonate with real buyer scenarios
- Equip Sales teams with repeatable frameworks, tools, and narratives that improve consistency and confidence in customer engagements
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in sales strategy, business development, or sales management
- Strong understanding of enterprise workflows and process design
- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and customer engagement
- Ability to design and implement structured methods for guiding prospects through presales
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with low-code/no-code workflow representations and AI-enabled enhancements
- Strong understanding of AI concepts and their practical applications in sales
