Job Description
About the Role
The VP Sales at Unlimit will drive end-to-end enterprise sales for domestic payment gateway solutions, focusing on acquiring and managing large enterprise merchants. This role is crucial in building strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth in a competitive payments ecosystem. As a key member of the sales team, you will work closely with product, integration, operations, and risk teams to ensure seamless onboarding and go-live. Your day-to-day will involve identifying, engaging, and closing high-value enterprise merchants across key sectors such as e-commerce, fintech, travel, edtech, and healthcare.The ideal candidate will have a strong network and proven experience in selling to large enterprise merchants, with a deep understanding of the UPI ecosystem, cards, and payment gateways. You will be expected to leverage your existing CXO-level and senior stakeholder relationships to drive new business and consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
What You Will Do
- Drive end-to-end enterprise sales for domestic payment gateway solutions
- Identify, engage, and close high-value enterprise merchants across key sectors
- Own MTU and GMV targets and consistently exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
- Build long-term strategic partnerships with enterprise clients
- Leverage existing CXO-level and senior stakeholder relationships to drive new business
- Position Unlimit against competitors in both domestic and cross-border segments
- Work closely with product, integration, operations, and risk teams to ensure seamless onboarding and go-live
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve business objectives
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead in the industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales within payments, fintech, or banking
- Strong network and proven experience in selling to large enterprise merchants
- Deep understanding of the UPI ecosystem, cards, and payment gateways
- Proven track record of closing large-ticket deals and managing long sales cycles
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to structure deals
- Experience working with payment aggregators, PSPs, or banks
- Prior experience in fintech companies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
