About the Role
The Warranty Reimbursement Lead Consultant role at WithumSmith+Brown is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join a dynamic team. As a lead consultant, you will be responsible for managing warranty parts and labor rate submissions for automotive clients, ensuring compliance with state statutes and manufacturer requirements. You will work closely with a team of professionals, including staff, senior managers, and partners, to deliver exceptional results.The automotive industry is a complex and ever-changing landscape, and WithumSmith+Brown is committed to providing exceptional service to its clients. As a lead consultant, you will play a critical role in navigating this landscape, leveraging your expertise in warranty processes and excel data analysis to drive results.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and review warranty parts and labor rate calculations for automotive clients
- Prepare and submit warranty labor time guide submissions, including coding and data analysis
- Compare excel data to PDF copies of repair orders, identifying discrepancies and areas for improvement
- Identify missing repair orders within the sequence, ensuring compliance with state statutes and manufacturer requirements
- Collaborate with the team to manage 10+ team members, reporting to the partner and senior manager on the team
- Develop and maintain thorough communication with team leaders, ensuring timely completion of deadlines
- Assist with other duties as needed, providing support to other members of the firm
- Review and analyze warranty claims submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of applicable state statutes and manufacturer requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive results
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working in the automotive industry, particularly in parts and service departments
- Knowledge of warranty processes and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with warranty reimbursement, warranty claims submission, and repair order review
- Accounting degree not required, but a plus
- Willing attitude of support with other members of the firm
- Ability to maintain thorough communication with team leaders and ensure timely completion of deadlines
