About the Role

The Water Plant Coordinator position at Four Seasons is a unique opportunity to work in a luxurious setting while ensuring the smooth operation of the resort's water plant. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing water supplies, maintaining equipment, and performing daily tests to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. The role is based in Nassau, at the prestigious Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas. This iconic resort has been a benchmark for luxury and service since 1962, offering its guests unparalleled experiences amidst breathtaking natural beauty. As a Water Plant Coordinator, you will be part of a team that values excellence, integrity, and a genuine passion for delivering the best.

Your day-to-day activities will involve collaboration with various departments to ensure seamless operations. You will work closely with housekeeping to supply water bottles, monitor inventory levels, and maintain the water plant area in pristine condition. Your ability to work independently, think critically, and solve problems will be invaluable in this role.

What You Will Do

  • Perform daily checks on water bottles to ensure sufficient supply for housekeeping
  • Conduct daily reports on the number of bottles supplied to each outlet, building, and area
  • Manage monthly inventory to identify damaged or missing bottles and request replacements
  • Keep all machinery in the water plant in good working order and report any needed repairs
  • Conduct daily water tests using the provided test kits and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor the use of supplies, equipment, and facilities, and prepare necessary documentation for maintenance or procurement
  • Maintain the water plant area in a tidy, organized, clean, and sanitized condition at all times
  • Assist colleagues as needed throughout the shift
  • Prepare and submit reports on water plant operations and maintenance needs
  • Collaborate with the engineering office for any repairs or maintenance work

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality or a related field
  • Strong understanding of water treatment and management principles
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain principles
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and troubleshooting
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in a related field is an advantage
