## About the Role As a Web Engineer at Hightouch, you will be responsible for driving marketing website projects, collaborating with the marketing and design teams to build, iterate, and maintain the company's public website. With a strong focus on work-life balance, Hightouch provides its employees with the flexibility to manage their work and personal life effectively. ## What You Will Do - Lead the design, scoping, and implementation of marketing website projects, such as new feature pages and blog revamps - Integrate CMS-powered interfaces, such as Sanity, to allow marketers to update content independently - Build and maintain the design system to ensure high velocity and high standards for UX - Develop engaging animations that enhance product storytelling using technologies such as Motion and GSAP - Exercise strong design judgment and attention to detail to ensure that every aspect of the website reinforces the company's brand identity - Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to drive business growth and improve customer engagement - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and AI-powered marketing - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase - Troubleshoot and debug issues with the website and its components - Develop and maintain technical documentation for the website and its components ## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in software/web engineering, with strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, CSS, and Next.js - Demonstrated ability to build production-ready web applications in a fast-paced environment - Excellent design taste and obsessive attention to detail - Proven experience with code-based animations, such as Motion or GSAP - Ability to work autonomously, lead and coach other engineers, and collaborate effectively with marketing, design, and data teams - Deep understanding of SEO principles and best practices, especially around performance, accessibility, and search optimization - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git - Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Google Cloud ## Nice to Have - Experience with machine learning or AI-powered marketing platforms - Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker or Kubernetes - Experience with testing frameworks, such as Jest or Cypress - Certification in web development or a related field ## Benefits and Perks - Competitive salary and equity package - Flexible working hours and remote work options - Comprehensive health insurance and wellness programs - Generous PTO and holiday policy - Professional development opportunities and training programs - Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools - Collaborative and dynamic work environment - Recognition and reward programs for outstanding performance
