The Web Marketing Lead at Plaid is a pivotal position that involves overseeing the evolution of plaid.com into a pinnacle of growth and conversion. This role is at the heart of the company's mission to empower a transformation in how people interact with their finances. By leveraging cutting-edge tools like GA4 and GTM, the Web Marketing Lead will drive the strategy and execution of Plaid's web presence, ensuring that millions of developers, businesses, and consumers have a seamless and compelling experience.The Web Marketing Team at Plaid is collaborative and user-centric, working closely with various departments to bring Plaid's solutions to market and scale their adoption globally. As a Web Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for defining how Plaid is experienced by its audience for the first time and how that initial interest is converted into product adoption, qualified pipeline, and revenue.
What You Will Do
- Own and evolve plaid.com into a best-in-class growth engine, focusing on product discovery, education, and conversion.
- Define the growth strategy and roadmap for plaid.com, ensuring performance across key surfaces like product pages, docs entry points, campaign landing pages, and conversion surfaces.
- Partner with the Brand, Content, and Design teams on the vision and experience for flagship pages.
- Be directly accountable for website-sourced pipeline, conversion, and key revenue metrics.
- Optimize performance across the homepage, product pages, and other key areas.
- Act as the internal expert on web performance, user journeys, and competitive benchmarks.
- Lead and scale a high-performing web marketing team, focusing on strategy, operations, SEO/AEO, content management, and experimentation.
- Foster a culture of ownership, velocity, and continuous learning within the team.
- Establish clear goals, processes, and operating rhythms to drive impact.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in web marketing, with a strong background in driving website growth and conversion.
- Expertise in GA4, GTM, HubSpot, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize website performance.
- Experience in leading and managing a team, with a focus on strategy, operations, and team development.
