About the Role
The Wire Drawing Operator position is a critical component of Prysmian's Production Team, focusing on the efficient operation of machines to meet production targets. Day-to-day, the role entails inspecting machines, ensuring that raw materials meet specifications, and updating the MES system with any machine faults. This role is integral to the team's success, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. What You Will Do
- Attend daily meetings with the supervisor to receive task allocations and discuss ongoing projects.
- Inspect machines daily to ensure they are functioning correctly and meeting production standards.
- Check raw materials against specifications to guarantee quality and compliance.
- Update the MES system with any machine faults or issues to ensure prompt maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Communicate effectively with the supervisor regarding machine maintenance needs or any operational issues.
- Participate in quality control processes to maintain high standards of production.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and improve processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

What We Are Looking For
- Secondary education or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in operating wire drawing machines or similar equipment.
- Basic understanding of digital systems and technology, particularly in a manufacturing context.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for long periods.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
