About the Role

The Workday Benefits Architect/Consultant position is a key part of Kognitiv Inc.'s Post-Production/AMS team. As a strategic partner to clients, this role involves optimizing and redesigning Workday Benefits configurations to improve user experience and system accuracy. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday Benefits configuration within a live, post-production environment and enjoy supporting multiple clients.

What You Will Do

  • Optimize and redesign existing Workday Benefits configurations to improve user experience and system accuracy
  • Lead the roll-out of new Workday Benefits functionality for existing Workday clients
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, from tangled calculation tags to misfiring accrual rules
  • Guide clients through semi-annual Workday updates, ensuring new Workday Benefit features are leveraged effectively
  • Conduct audits of existing configurations to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design scalable solutions
  • Develop and implement high-value redesigns and optimizations
  • Provide strategic guidance on Workday Benefits best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday Benefits features and functionality
  • Participate in release management to ensure seamless transitions
  • Communicate effectively with clients on the impact of redesigns on their business

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong expertise in Workday Benefits configuration within a live, post-production environment
  • Experience supporting multiple clients and pivoting quickly between different business requirements and industries
  • Proven ability to look at a 'messy' tenant and design a scalable path forward
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to consult with clients on why a redesign is necessary and how it impacts their bottom line
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with Workday Benefits configuration, including calculation tags and accrual rules
  • Knowledge of Workday Benefits best practices
  • Familiarity with release management and semi-annual Workday updates
