About the Role
The Workday Integration Developer role at SSM Health is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative HR Technology team focused on building and optimizing integrations across the enterprise. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure exceptional data integrity and service, providing support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations, and new integrations.

What You Will Do
- Manage system integrations within the existing architecture using Workday integration technology
- Develop and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Document Transformation, core connectors, and packaged integrations
- Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations, and new integrations
- Create solutions for integration monitoring and provide support for incident management
- Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing, supporting inbound/outbound interfaces to Workday and middleware
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation, and problem resolution
- Analyze and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications
- Conduct unit and integration tests to ensure accuracy and integrity in downstream systems
- Collaborate with business and technical teams on interface design and maintenance
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of experience with Workday (WD Studio, WD Extend, WD Orchestration)
- Strong knowledge of encryption best practices and REST/SOAP API
- Experience with XML, SOAP, XSLT, and middleware
- Ability to understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with other HR systems and integration technologies
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools
- Certification in Workday integration or a related field
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
