About the Role
The Writer and Editor role at Elevenlabs is a unique opportunity to shape the company's narrative and communicate its vision to the world. This role entails collaborating closely with various teams, including growth, research, engineering, product, and partnerships, to produce high-quality content that meets the company's editorial standards.The successful candidate will be an exceptional writer with a journalist's instincts, able to find the story, sharpen an argument, and explain why it matters. You will be working in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, where the ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include owning the Elevenlabs blog, interviewing domain experts, and defining the house style to ensure a consistent voice across all content.

What You Will Do
- Own the Elevenlabs blog, setting the editorial standard, writing new content, and editing draft posts from other teams
- Interview domain experts, mine data sets, and monitor internal updates to unearth the best ideas and stories
- Make complex business and technical updates legible through clear writing and compelling visualizations
- Define the house style and ensure Elevenlabs maintains a consistent voice
- Write keynotes and remarks for senior leadership that stick in the minds of audiences
- Manage a network of freelance writers and editors to scale output as needed
- Collaborate with the growth team to develop content that drives user engagement and conversion
- Work with the product team to create content that supports product launches and updates
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent publication of high-quality content
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure Elevenlabs' content remains relevant and informative
