What You Will Do

• Develop quality web and ecommerce solutions utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React
• Collaborate with project managers and designers to deliver beautiful, pixel-perfect websites
• Work across multiple projects at the same time, adapting to strict requirements and processes
• Problem-solve unique issues and troubleshoot problems
• Work collaboratively with the development team, sharing ideas and expertise
• Apply best practices in modular web development, using module bundlers such as webpack
• Interpret and work with APIs, using templating languages such as Shopify Liquid Template Language
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the required quality
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, including modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Vue.js

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of experience working in a development environment, preferably with Shopify
• Experience working with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong understanding of UX across platform/responsive design and development
• Experience with module bundlers such as webpack and version control systems such as Git
• Effective time management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with the development team, sharing ideas and expertise
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Shopify Liquid Template Language and JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as CircleCI

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Vue.js
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as CircleCI
• Experience working with app builds (frontend or backend)
• Experience with design tools such as Figma
• A GitHub profile showcasing your work
