About the Role
The Zoom AI DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in designing and managing AWS infrastructure that supports AI services. This involves implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, streamlining automation, and ensuring high reliability. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Infrastructure Engineers, and Product teams, to build and maintain resilient, high-performing systems. What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure to support AI services
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and manage on-call rotations
- Streamline automation, monitor systems, and ensure high reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost performance and guide engineers on automation best practices
- Work on occasional weekend deployments as needed
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and monitoring
- Participate in the development of best practices for DevOps and cloud engineering
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with security policies
- Contribute to the development of the company's cloud strategy and roadmap
- Participate in agile development methodologies and collaborate with the development team
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud or DevOps engineer
- Hands-on experience working on Production service deployments using Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS services and Kubernetes-based production deployments
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible)
- Experience in Kubernetes, Docker workload deployment, and monitoring for large-scale distributed systems
- High proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including security, scalability, and reliability
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with machine learning and AI services
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
