Daybreak Health is actively recruiting bilingual Spanish/English therapists to serve our growing caseload of Latino students and families across Illinois. This is a remote, associate-level role (LSW or LPC) with free supervision, guaranteed pay, and flexible scheduling.

The Work

You'll provide evidence-based teletherapy to K–12 students in IL school districts, collaborating with school counselors and families. You'll participate in case consultations and contribute to clinical program development as we grow.

What You Need

• Active LSW or LPC in Illinois (required — we are not able to hire pre-licensure candidates at this time)
• Bilingual Spanish/English fluency
• Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged youth and families
• Comfortable with telehealth and EHR systems
• Available Mon–Fri afternoons/evenings (weekend slots also available)

Preferred

• Experience in CBT, DBT, or similar modalities
• Prior school-based or youth-focused experience
• Active NPI and CAQH

• Highlight your bilingual proficiency with concrete evidence: include a brief language‑assessment score (e.g., DELE C1, TOEFL iBT, or a certified Spanish proficiency test) and give two examples of past caseloads where you delivered therapy in both languages, emphasizing cultural competence with Latino families.
• Demonstrate familiarity with tele‑health platforms used by Daybreak Health (e.g., Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me, or TheraNest): add a short “Tech Skills” section to your résumé listing each platform, the length of use, and any certifications (e.g., HIPAA‑compliant telehealth training). Offer to share a 2‑minute screen‑recorded walkthrough of a mock session to prove you can set up secure virtual rooms quickly.
• Prepare a “Remote Supervision Ready” portfolio: include a one‑page case summary (de‑identified) showing your use of evidence‑based interventions for school‑aged clients, the outcome metrics you tracked, and a brief reflection on how you incorporated family‑centered, culturally responsive techniques. Attach this as a PDF link in your application and reference it during the interview.
• Anticipate Daybreak’s focus on flexible scheduling and school‑district coordination: in your cover letter and interview, outline a realistic weekly availability matrix (e.g., “Mon‑Fri 3‑7 pm CST, with optional evenings for after‑school sessions”) and describe a past experience syncing therapy appointments with school calendars or coordinating with teachers and counselors.
• When discussing compensation, reference the guaranteed pay structure and the value of free clinical supervision: research the average LSW/LPC hourly rate in Illinois (≈$30‑$35) and propose a range slightly above that (e.g., $38‑$42) while emphasizing how the supervision component reduces your out‑of‑pocket training costs, positioning it as a win‑win for both you and Daybreak.
