About the Role
This is a high-impact opportunity to join SplitMetrics' established sales team as a Business Development Representative, focused on Enterprise and C-level prospects across both inbound and outbound motions. You'll research, prospect, and qualify opportunities that feed directly into the sales pipeline, working closely with Sales to convert interest into qualified meetings. Strong performers have a clear path to Account Executive. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: - Conduct company research based on SplitMetrics' Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and execute personalized, data-informed outreach to Enterprise and C-level contacts.- Qualify and follow up on inbound leads, quickly assessing fit and routing warm opportunities into the pipeline.
- Utilize automation tools, cold calls, and custom emails to build and enrich the sales pipeline with new opportunities.
- Run discovery and qualification calls with Enterprise companies and C-level titles to surface needs and hand qualified opportunities to the Sales Team.
- Own pipeline and demos-booked targets on a monthly and quarterly basis, with a focus on quality over volume, contributing to team-wide KPIs.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date prospect and company records in HubSpot to track sales metrics and progress.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team on outreach strategy, sharing feedback and refining messaging based on what's converting.
- Actively participate in education sessions and training, and contribute expertise and best practices back to the Sales department.
- Track record across both outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques — cold calls, personalized LinkedIn/email messaging, and discovery calls.
- Experience with prospecting tools and a CRM (HubSpot a plus).
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Quick learner who adapts well to an ever-changing environment.
- Time management skills and the ability to work independently or under supervision.
- Coachable, resilient, and energized by feedback.
- Comfortable operating with some ambiguity within an established, fast-moving team GROWTH PATH: Clear progression to Account Executive for BDRs who consistently hit pipeline and demo targets and demonstrate readiness for a full deal cycle.
- Time Off: Vacation and public holidays following your country's regulations. Additional PTOs annually for personal rejuvenation.
- Health and Wellness: Medical insurance or health care compensation. Paid sick leave to prioritize your well-being.
- Professional Development: Top online/offline conferences and mobile industry events.
- Performance and Growth: Micro-management-free and supportive management style. Semi-annual performance review sessions. New career opportunities through our internal mobility program.
- Team Engagement: Corporate online events and offline team retreats. Collaboration between teams through shared OKRs.
- Work Flexibility: Flexible working schedule for a better work-life balance. Remote-first working environment.
- Workspace Options: Coworking costs coverage program. Office hubs in key locations for a convenient and productive work environment. OUR CULTURE At SplitMetrics, our values are not just words — they guide everything we do.
How to Stand Out
- Show HubSpot mastery with metrics: In your resume and cover letter, list concrete HubSpot campaigns you built (e.g., “Designed a lead‑nurture workflow that increased MQL‑to‑SQL conversion by 28% in 3 months”) and include a short screenshot or PDF of the workflow/report (blur confidential data). Interviewers will ask you to walk through the setup, so be ready to explain each step and the KPI you tracked.
- Build a “SplitMetrics‑style” prospect list in Excel: Before the interview, download the latest Apple Ads partner directory or the App Store top‑gainer list, filter for European mobile‑first companies, and create a spreadsheet with columns for company, product focus, current ad spend, and a 2‑sentence outreach hook. Bring this sheet to the video call and discuss how you’d prioritize outreach—demonstrating both Excel fluency and industry research.
- Create a one‑page case study of a closed deal: Pick your most relevant B2B SaaS win, outline the problem, your outreach cadence (emails, calls, LinkedIn), the tools used (HubSpot sequences, Excel ROI model), and the final revenue impact. Format it like a SplitMetrics slide deck (clean layout, brand colors) and attach it to your application; interviewers often request a quick “deal walk‑through” to gauge storytelling ability.
- Speak the language of mobile growth: Familiarize yourself with SplitMetrics’ four products (Acquire, Agency, Optimize, App Radar). Prepare two short pitches: one for a mobile‑gaming studio and one for a fintech app, highlighting which product solves their biggest pain point (e.g., “Acquire automates Apple Search Ads to cut CPI by 15%”). Showing product‑specific knowledge signals you can hit the ground running.
- Negotiate with Euro‑zone data: Research average BDR total‑compensation in Europe (≈ €55‑70k base + 10‑15% commission) and SplitMetrics’ remote‑work stipend policy. In the salary discussion, reference your proven HubSpot conversion rate and the Excel‑driven pipeline you’ll deliver, asking for a base that matches the upper market quartile plus a performance accelerator tied to new Apple Ads client acquisition.
