Business Operations Associate
Job Description
✨ WHAT AWAITS YOU HERE: As a Business Operations Associate, you'll own the systems and day-to-day operations that keep Braiins' commercial team running. Your mission is to build further automations, processes, and cross-functional connective tissue that let the sales team focus on closing deals. You'll sit at the intersection of CRM, accounting, marketing, product, and business development, and you'll be the person who removes bottlenecks before anyone else notices them. 🤝
Key Responsibilities
- Own the systems and day-to-day operations of the commercial team, freeing sales reps to focus primarily on selling.
- CRM: Build logic and automations that remove bottlenecks and surface better insight into BD activity through automated quotes and contracts, email sequences, reporting, and pricing structures.
- Accounting: Partner with our accounting team to ensure invoicing goes out on time and client payments are collected, and continuously look for ways to streamline the process.
- Marketing: Act as the day-to-day point of contact between BD and Marketing, making sure commercial requests are fulfilled.
- Product: Serve as the day-to-day liaison between BD and Product, keeping requests moving and aligned.
- Business Development: Stay on top of the latest tools and insights that could bring value to the commercial team, and bring them in. 🔎 WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH: - 2+ years in revenue operations, sales operations, business operations, or a similar role supporting a commercial or BD team.
- Hands-on experience administering and automating CRM workflows, reporting, and integrations.
- Strong process orientation and a bias for removing friction; you spot bottlenecks and fix them without being asked.
- Comfort working across accounting, marketing, and product functions, and translating between them.
- Strong ownership, clear communication, and the ability to deliver independently in a remote environment. 💪 PREFERRED SKILLS - Experience with quote/contract automation, CPQ tools, or building pricing logic.
- Familiarity with billing and invoicing workflows, ideally in a high-volume or mid-market context.
- Experience scaling operations through a growth or volume inflection point.
How to Stand Out
- Highlight any experience automating CRM workflows (especially with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive) by sharing a short case study or screenshot of a pipeline you built that reduced sales‑cycle time by ≥ 20 %; Braiins values concrete metrics that prove you can “remove bottlenecks before anyone else notices them.”
- Create a one‑page “operations playbook” for a mock sales team that includes automated quote generation, contract templating, and email sequencing using tools like Zapier, Make (Integromat), or Braiins’ own internal APIs; bring this to the interview to demonstrate you can design the “cross‑functional connective tissue” they need.
- Showcase familiarity with accounting‑sales integration (e.g., syncing Stripe, QuickBooks, or Xero data into the CRM) by preparing a short demo video (2‑3 min) of how you linked revenue data to deal stages, enabling real‑time margin reporting—Braiins’ commercial ops rely on this visibility.
- Emphasize remote‑first collaboration skills: reference specific Slack/Asana/Notion setups you’ve used to keep geographically dispersed sales and product teams aligned, and be ready to walk interviewers through a recent “bottleneck” you identified and resolved without face‑to‑face meetings.
- Research Braiins’ core products (ASIC mining firmware, mining pool services) and prepare two thoughtful suggestions for how the commercial ops team could surface product‑specific ROI metrics in the CRM; this signals you’ve done domain homework and can bridge product knowledge with operational efficiency.
