Director, Partnerships - Retail Equity Capital
WFA Digital Insight
Wealthsimple’s Corporate Development team is compact but high‑impact, and the Director of Partnerships will own a brand‑new retail equity capital function. The role sits at the crossroads of issuers, capital‑markets desks and millions of retail investors, giving a rare chance to shape how a major Canadian fintech brings IPOs and private‑market deals to everyday clients. Success will require fluency in both the technical side of equity offerings and the softer art of relationship building across banks, syndicate desks and emerging platforms. Because the position reports directly to the VP of Corporate Development, the incumbent will have visibility with senior leadership while steering end‑to‑end execution, from legal clearance to product rollout. Candidates should be comfortable navigating ambiguous, fast‑moving environments and be ready to translate strategic vision into repeatable operational processes.
