Responsibilities
Contributors will: - Design and implement multi-file coding tasks across bug fixing, feature development, refactoring, and testing - Write clear natural-language specifications and reference implementations - Develop and extend unit and integration test suites - Review peer-generated tasks for correctness, clarity, and realism - Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes - Ensure alignment between specifications, code, and expected outputs Expected Outcomes: - High-quality, production-realistic coding tasks - Complete and correct reference implementations - Robust test coverage and validation artifacts - Structured, actionable peer review feedbackHow to Stand Out
- Highlight a GitHub repo or personal project that showcases a full‑stack app built with Python (FastAPI/Django) and TypeScript (React/Next.js), including a comprehensive test suite (pytest & Jest); ensure the repo has clear README, CI badge, and visible coverage metrics to demonstrate your testing discipline.
- In your cover letter, quantify debugging achievements (e.g., “resolved 15 critical production bugs in a 200‑module codebase, reducing incident MTTR by 40%”) and describe the tools you used (pdb, VS Code debugging, logging frameworks); interviewers will probe for systematic troubleshooting methods.
- Prepare a short video walkthrough (2‑3 min) of a recent code review you led, focusing on refactoring decisions, migration strategy, and how you communicated feedback in English; this evidences both code quality awareness and the required advanced written English proficiency.
- When discussing the part‑time, project‑based nature, propose a flexible milestone plan (e.g., deliver a PoC in two weeks, followed by iterative feature sprints) and suggest using Jira or ClickUp for transparent task tracking—showing you can thrive in remote, outcome‑driven environments.
- Research current salary benchmarks for Argentine remote full‑stack engineers at international AI firms; come prepared with a range (e.g., $45‑55 USD/k hour) backed by data from Glassdoor/Levels.fyi and be ready to negotiate based on the project's scope, expected hours, and any equity or bonus components.
