Position: Sales Development Representative Department: Sales Reports To: Manager, Sales Development Summary: The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is crucial in generating qualified leads and driving sales growth for our AI and data management platform solutions in the water infrastructure industry. They are responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing potential customers, setting the stage for successful sales engagements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting through various channels (phone calls, emails, social media) to identify potential customers.
- Qualify leads and schedule sales appointments for the sales team.
- Engage with prospects to understand their needs and educate them on our product offerings.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, tracking all interactions in CRM software (Salesforce).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead-generation campaigns and strategies.
- Research target industries and markets to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Assist in the development of sales materials and presentations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an SDR, sales or customer-facing role (preferred).
