The Role
We are looking to fill the position of Analyst, People Operations. The right individual will bring core analytical, systems, and communication skills — with hands-on experience in Workday administration, People Analytics, and supporting the full HR and Talent Acquisition lifecycle. This role is for an innovative, solution-focused thinker with strong organizational instincts who thrives in ambiguity and can manage competing priorities across the entire People Operations team.
The Analyst, People Operations will serve as a centralized owner and administrator of key People Ops systems including Workday, Greenhouse, Fountain, EasyLlama, and Lattice. They will be responsible for system configuration, building and maintaining custom reports, and ensuring data integrity across platforms. They will be a critical partner in system implementations, data integrity, and analytics as the company continues to scale.
Top candidates will have a proven track record of translating People Ops data into actionable insights, configuring and optimizing HRIS systems, writing and automating reports for cross-functional stakeholders, and driving process improvements through automation and reporting.
Responsibilities
Data, Analytics & Reporting
- Build, maintain, and automate recurring People Ops dashboards and reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) for stakeholders across the business
- Serve as the primary contact for all report requests through the centralized channel
- Develop and own People Ops analytics — including headcount, attrition, time-to-fill, DEI metrics, and workforce trends — to surface insights for senior leadership
- Populate data for All Hands, QBR, Thrive Week, Winter Week, and Leadership Summit decks
- Ensure all People Ops metric reporting is consistent, verified, and accurate
- Leverage Workday reporting tools (calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards) to deliver self-service analytics to HRBPs and business leaders
- Support ad hoc reporting requests from People Ops senior leaders
Workday HRIS and Other Systems Administration
- Support the implementation, launch, and ongoing maintenance of People Ops systems (Workday module releases, Greenhouse, Fountain, EasyLlama, Lattice)
- Serve as a Workday system administrator, supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of the platform
- Partner with IT and Finance on Workday business process changes, security role updates, and module releases
- Build and maintain trackers for all HRIS-related requests to ensure timely resolution and systemic fixes
- Document workflow paths to ensure no compliance gaps or segregation-of-duties risks
- Communicate system outages and maintenance windows to affected stakeholders
SOX & People Ops Compliance
- Complete SOX compliance audits and controls as required, including pre-payroll posting audits and any controls identified by the audit committee
- Conduct quarterly User Access Reviews and submit completed audits to the Senior Program Manager, People Operations and Internal Audits Director on time
- Escalate delays or issues to the Senior Program Manager, People Operations as they arise
Learning & Development
- Develop and deliver onboarding and system SOPs (Workday, Greenhouse, Fountain, EasyLlama, Lattice)
- Centralize training content in EasyLlama and Workday for consistent org-wide delivery
- Partner with HRBPs to audit, update, and assign recorded trainings to appropriate cohorts
- Support build-out of compliance trainings: Workplace Safety, Cybersecurity, and Harassment Prevention
People Operations Service Desk
- Design and build a centralized service desk for TA and HR teams
- Create SLAs, SOPs, and a self-service knowledge base
- Automate responses for recurring request themes
- Report quarterly on inquiry volume, themes, and response times
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in People Operations, HR analytics, or HRIS administration
- Hands-on Workday experience required — configuration, reporting, and/or administration; HCM, Recruiting, or Advanced Compensation modules a plus
- Demonstrated People Ops experience spanning HR and Talent Acquisition: recruiting operations, employee lifecycle management, data integrity, and system administration
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable building reports, dashboards, and data models that drive decisions
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUPs, IF functions, pivot tables) and Google Suite; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar) a plus
- Experience leveraging AI tools to automate workflows, accelerate reporting, and drive continuous improvement across People Ops processes
- Effective communicator with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, scaling environment

- Compensation Description - The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000/Per Year.
- Compensation may vary on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.

- This position requires traveling to our HQ office in Los Angeles, California, twice a year for all-company summits; once in the summer and once in the winter.
