Platform Engineer, Developer Experience (DevEx)
WFA Digital Insight
The Developer Experience team at Delinea is the hidden engine that powers every other engineering effort across the company. As a platform engineer you’ll own the shared .NET and Go libraries, the Terraform modules that provision cloud resources, and the CI/CD pipelines that keep code moving without friction. What sets this role apart is its focus on both commercial cloud and Azure Government environments, meaning you’ll be shaping tooling that meets strict FedRAMP requirements while still delivering speed for everyday developers. Expect deep collaboration with product, security, and operations teams, and the chance to influence how the entire organization builds, ships, and runs services. If you enjoy turning repetitive toil into reusable, well‑documented assets, this is the kind of impact‑driven engineering work that rarely appears on generic job boards.

Join our passionate, global team at Delinea and help us make the world a safer and more secure place. Our success is driven by world-class product leadership, outstanding engineers, and strategic investment from TPG. We value diversity, innovation, and a culture of respect and fairness. If you're ready to push boundaries and challenge the status quo in security, we want to hear from you. Apply today to help us achieve our mission. Summary: Our Developer Experience (DevEx) team sits within Delinea's Cloud Engineering organization, and our mission is straightforward: make it dramatically easier for other engineering teams to build, ship, and run their services. We provide leverage and reduce toil across the org, owning the shared .NET and Go libraries, CI/CD pipelines, and canary-based deployment tooling that application teams rely on every day, all built on top of our shared infrastructure services. As a platform engineer on this team, you'll help shape the paved paths other engineers build on. One of our current priorities is extending our platform to Azure Government to support FedRAMP certification while keeping our commercial cloud deployments healthy, but that's one initiative among several. Your work will span shared tooling, infrastructure as code, GitOps-based delivery, and the reference implementations that let other teams move faster with confidence. We're open to mid- and senior-level engineers; what matters most is the impact and judgment you bring, not a specific number of years.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain the shared libraries, tooling, and paved paths that our .NET and Go application teams depend on. · Design, implement, and evolve Terraform modules and infrastructure as code across our cloud environments (Azure commercial and Azure Government). · Configure and improve GitOps-based delivery with Argo CD, including canary and progressive rollouts, so teams can ship safely. · Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that reduce friction and toil for application engineering teams. · Contribute to our FedRAMP / Azure Government initiative, adapting deployment pipelines, PR-based approval workflows, and package strategies for government cloud boundaries. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs, propose technical solutions, and help shape architectural decisions. · Create reference implementations and documentation that make platform capabilities easy for other teams to adopt. · Participate in code reviews and mentor fellow engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. · Develop reusable and responsible AI-enabled workflows, skills, and automations to act as force multipliers for your fellow developers.
- We're passionate problem-solvers helping the world's largest organizations protect what matters most: their human and machine identities.
- We invest in people who are smart, self-motivated, and collaborative.
- What we offer in return is meaningful work, a culture of innovation and great career progression.
How to Stand Out
- Highlight any production‑grade .NET or Go libraries you have built; include links to repositories or demos.
- Show concrete examples of Terraform modules you authored, especially if they span multiple environments.
- Prepare to discuss how you have integrated security or compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Azure Government or FedRAMP concepts; even a brief research note can set you apart.
- During interviews, reference specific pain points you solved for other engineers through tooling or automation.
- Ask about the on‑call rotation and support expectations to gauge the operational load.
- Negotiate for a remote‑work stipend if it isn’t explicitly listed in the benefits.
