- Earn trust through transparent communication. WHO ARE YOU? / ABOUT YOU: We're looking for a Product Designer to join our team, contributing their expertise to help scale our industry leading platform focusing on new products and growth areas for Skimmer.
What You'll Do
Design Execution - Develop and refine wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity visual designs in accordance with product/user requirements for existing and new experiences - Partner with product to conduct and analyze user research, usability testing, and data to inform design decisions alongside product management counterparts.- Partner with product management and contribute to roadmap initiatives from discovery to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with your design colleagues to advance existing design patterns and practices for desktop and mobile versions of our products.
- Execute user-centered design principles and represent the voice of the user throughout the development of mockups, prototypes, and delivered features.
- Work with other design team members to create and maintain visual and experiential consistency across products and features.
- Communicate design rationale and present solutions to various audiences, including internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and design sprints to drive alignment, innovation, all while ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high quality standard.
- Ability to balance user needs with business objectives and technical constraints.
- A strong understanding of visual design principles and demonstration of applying them to web and, ideally, mobile applications.
- An emerging understanding of user research methods, accessibility standards, and mobile design standards.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, AI tools such as Claude or Paper, and work management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to contribute to project requirements with light supervision required, ensuring commitments and deadlines are met or exceeded.
