Project Accountant – EMR Modernization
WFA Digital Insight
MCD Global Health’s Project Accountant sits at the financial core of a rare, federally funded effort to upgrade electronic medical records for more than 70 rural clinics across Maine. The position blends classic grant accounting—tracking reimbursements, reconciling accounts, and preparing audit‑ready reports—with a mission‑driven focus on health equity. While the role is fully remote, it requires periodic travel to Maine, giving the accountant a tangible connection to the communities benefiting from the $30 million modernization budget. Candidates who thrive in environments where precise financial stewardship directly supports public‑health outcomes will find this blend of remote flexibility and on‑the‑ground impact especially compelling.
