Sales Systems Engineer – SecuritiAI (Portuguese Fluent)
WFA Digital Insight
Veeam’s SecuritiAI team is looking for a technically fluent Sales Systems Engineer who will sit at the intersection of post‑sale support and renewal strategy. Unlike a typical presales role, this position spends most of its time with existing customers, translating data‑security concepts into concrete renewal value. The job demands a blend of deep security knowledge, comfort presenting scripted demos, and the ability to surface upsell opportunities without a hard‑sell approach. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential given Veeam’s Latin‑American client base, and the daily workflow hinges on disciplined Salesforce tracking. Candidates should be ready to work autonomously from Costa Rica while staying tightly aligned with renewal account managers.

What You'll Bring Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in solution sales, technical presales, post-sales, or technical support. Experience with DSPM, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), or related data security solutions; direct DSPM experience is a plus but not required given how new the category is. Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA, or similar. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and basic data discovery/classification concepts (data discovery, data access and governance) across common cloud data systems. Spanish and English required; Portuguese a plus given regional customer base. Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong time management and adaptability to shifting priorities. Ability to simplify complex technical and security concepts for varied audiences. Willingness to travel up to 10–25%. Beneficial but not required: relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, or cloud-specific). Note: DSPM/Securiti-specific fluency is not expected on day one; this role includes a structured enablement path to ramp technical depth post-hire.
