Senior HRBP (US)
WFA Digital Insight
Viz.ai’s Senior HR Business Partner is a rare blend of strategic HR counsel and hands‑on execution for a fully remote, AI‑driven health‑tech firm. The role sits directly with GTM and commercial leadership, meaning every decision you make ripples through sales, marketing and client‑facing teams that power the company’s AI platform. Unlike many HRBP posts that focus on policy administration, Viz.ai expects you to diagnose people‑related challenges, design bespoke interventions, and translate data signals into actionable change—all without a pre‑written playbook. Reporting to a senior People leader in Israel, you’ll operate as a peer to US managers, shaping onboarding, performance cycles and retention programs while leveraging AI tools to automate routine work. If you thrive on fast‑paced environments where people strategy meets cutting‑edge technology, this role stands out for its autonomy and impact.
Job Description
ABOUT VIZ.AI Viz.ai is the leader in building and deploying AI-powered Care Pathways and helping doctors do their work. The Viz Platform is deployed in 2,000 hospitals across the United States and trusted by many of the leading life sciences companies. The platform uniquely combines real-time, multimodal clinical data with deep clinician engagement to detect disease earlier, coordinate care teams, and help ensure patients receive the right treatment faster. Viz.ai was the first company to be awarded CMS reimbursement for AI and is ranked the #1 Healthcare AI Platform by hospitals and health systems in the Black Book Research survey. For more information, visit Viz.ai. THE ROLE Viz.ai http://Viz.ai is a healthcare AI company on a mission to increase the speed and quality of care for patients worldwide. Our platform connects clinical teams, accelerates diagnoses, and drives better outcomes — and the people behind it are just as mission-driven as the product itself. We're looking for a Sr. HR Business Partner to support our US organization. This is a high-impact, cross-functional IC role that sits at the intersection of people strategy and business execution. You'll partner closely with GTM and Commercial leaders while supporting the full breadth of our US employee base — and you'll do it without a playbook, without waiting for permission, and without defaulting to "the way it's always been done." You'll report to the Sr. Director, People, based in Israel, and operate as a true peer to the business — equal parts strategic advisor, change agent, and trusted thought partner. This role requires someone who can move fast, read the room, and bring both rigor and humanity to every people challenge. You will: 1. Support a fully remote organization of approximately 150 employees across Commercial, G&A, Clinical and cross-functional teams. 2. Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to US-based people managers and leaders, coaching them through real challenges, not just policy questions.
- Proactively identify manager capability gaps and design targeted interventions, not just respond to individual coaching requests. 4. Navigate complex employee situations with sound judgment and speed — from performance issues and team dynamics to org design and leadership transitions. 5. In conjunction with our Sr. Manager, Employee Experience, and the broader HRBP team, drive People programs and initiatives across the US —from identifying needs and shaping design, to execution, adoption, and iteration.
- Use people data to surface org health signals and connect it to recommended action — turnover risk, engagement trends, performance patterns — bring a point of view, not just a report. 9. Translate People strategy into action at the business level — helping managers and leaders at Viz.ai http://Viz.ai connect the dots between company direction and their teams.
- Use AI tools actively and fluently in your day-to-day — automating repeatable work, accelerating analysis, and building smarter workflows. You should be able to articulate the tangible business impact your AI usage has created.
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Deep experience supporting GTM, Sales, or Commercial organizations — this is the primary lens for this role.
- Strong manager coaching capability — you know how to meet a manager where they are, ask the right questions, and actually shift how they lead.
- Comfort operating independently with minimal oversight — you bring solutions, not problems.
- Strong team player - you will be collaborating and coordinating with a broader People Operations, HRBP and Employee Programs team.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to pivot quickly — this role lives in the grey, not in the handbook.
- Strong AI fluency — required, not preferred.
- Excellent judgment, communication, and the ability to hold multiple stakeholder perspectives simultaneously.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments where the org chart and the priorities shift frequently.
- Background in AI-native or AI-first companies — you've seen what it looks like when AI is embedded into the culture, not just the tools.
- Familiarity with US/Israel distributed team dynamics or global workforce complexity.
- Experience in facilitation, coaching and leading learning & development sessions.
- If you are looking to make an impact, we are mission-driven and are making a difference in peoples’ lives every day.
- If you want to be a part of an amazing team , our people are the heart of everything we do.
- If you are a self-starter and naturally motivated, our work is driven by curiosity, innovation and team collaboration which allows us to leverage our skills immeasurably.
How to Stand Out
- Highlight concrete examples of how you’ve coached GTM or sales managers and the measurable outcomes achieved.
- Showcase any experience automating HR processes with AI or data‑analysis tools; include specific tools or scripts you built.
- Prepare to discuss how you’d diagnose a remote team’s engagement risk using people data.
- Bring a brief case study that demonstrates your ability to design a manager‑development program from scratch.
- Research Viz.ai’s AI platform and be ready to explain why its mission resonates with you during the interview.
- When negotiating, consider equity and remote‑work allowances alongside base salary, given the company’s growth stage.
- Watch for vague promises about “playbooks”; ask how much autonomy the role truly has to shape people strategy.
