How to Stand Out
- Show AI‑first GTM frameworks: In your resume and interview, detail a past launch where you integrated AI (e.g., predictive audience segmentation, automated copy generation, or real‑time performance dashboards). Cite the exact tools (e.g., OpenAI API, GPT‑4, custom ML models) and quantify results—speed up launch cycle by X% or lift conversion by Y%—to prove you live the “AI‑native” ethos Minty demands.
- Build a HubSpot‑centric portfolio: Assemble a PDF or public Notion page with 2–3 HubSpot campaign playbooks you owned—include screenshots of the workflow automations, lead‑scoring models, and email‑personalization rules you built. Highlight any custom HubSpot APIs or integrations you coded, and annotate the impact on MQL‑to‑SQL conversion or campaign ROI.
- Excel for AI‑driven insights: Prepare a mini‑case study showing a complex dataset you cleaned, modeled, and visualized in Excel (using Power Query, dynamic arrays, or VBA) to surface go‑to‑market insights. Bring the spreadsheet (or a short video walkthrough) to the interview and be ready to explain your formulas, assumptions, and how the findings guided product positioning.
- Demonstrate cross‑functional storytelling: Minty expects you to partner with product, data, and design. Craft a one‑page “product narrative deck” for a hypothetical AI‑powered feature, mapping buyer personas, value propositions, and a launch timeline. Practice delivering it aloud; interviewers will look for clarity, differentiation, and how you translate technical AI concepts into shopper‑friendly language.
- Negotiate with market‑specific data: Research recent senior product marketing salaries for AI‑focused remote roles (e.g., Glassdoor, Levels.fyi, H1B data). Prepare a salary range anchored to your proven AI‑GTM impact (e.g., “$165k‑$185k base + 15‑20% equity”), and back it with comparable benchmarks and your quantified outcomes. Present this during the offer stage to signal both confidence and market awareness.
