Senior Workplace Operations Manager
WFA Digital Insight
OpenAI’s Real Estate & Workplace (REW) team is expanding its footprint in India, and the Senior Workplace Operations Manager sits at the centre of that push. Unlike a typical facilities manager, this role blends strategic planning with day‑to‑day execution across three major cities—Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore—while reporting directly to the Head of Workplace for the JAPAC region. The candidate will own the country‑wide operating model, set service standards, and act as the primary liaison between internal leaders and external vendors. What makes the position stand out is the explicit focus on building an AI‑native environment, meaning the manager will not only oversee physical spaces but also embed automation and data‑driven insights into every facet of workplace experience. Applicants need to be comfortable navigating both high‑level stakeholder conversations and the granular details of facility contracts, safety compliance, and post‑occupancy optimisation.
