The Engineer will own and drive the development from design to development and test in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Highlight any hands‑on experience building or scaling payments‑related services (e.g., PCI‑DSS compliant APIs, tokenization, fraud detection). In your résumé and cover letter, quantify impact (e.g., “Reduced transaction latency by 30% while handling $10M daily volume”).
• Demonstrate mastery of the likely tech stack: Node.js/TypeScript back‑end, React front‑end, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform), Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI). Include a short “demo project” in your GitHub that deploys a full‑stack microservice to AWS using IaC and passes automated security scans.
• Prove you thrive remotely: list concrete remote‑work practices (e.g., 90‑day “async first” communication plan, daily stand‑up video updates, documented hand‑offs in Confluence, use of Slack status bots). Share a brief case study where you delivered a feature end‑to‑end while the team was distributed across time zones.
• Curate a focused portfolio: build a mini “loyalty‑plus‑payments” app that showcases end‑to‑end flow (user earns points, redeems via a mock Mastercard, transaction recorded in a ledger). Include load‑test results, unit‑test coverage >80 %, and a security audit report. Link this repo (with a polished README) directly in your application.
