You will work closely with the mobile team, product managers, UX architects, and UI designers everyone to bring the best social shopping experience to life. • Build a mini‑project that mimics SYW’s core flow (e.g., a loyalty‑points dashboard that integrates a mock payment API) using React Native, TypeScript, and Redux‑Toolkit; host the code on GitHub with a clear README, screenshots, and a short video demo to attach to your application.
• Highlight any experience with fintech or payments APIs (Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, tokenization, PCI‑DSS compliance) in both your résumé and interview answers, emphasizing how you handled security, error handling, and transaction state across mobile devices.
• Demonstrate mastery of performance‑critical mobile techniques that SYW would value: lazy loading of screens, native module bridging for barcode/QR scans, and profiling with Flipper/React‑Native‑Profiler to keep FPS > 55 on both iOS and Android. Include brief performance metrics in your portfolio.
• Show concrete remote‑work competence: reference specific collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack, GitHub Actions) you’ve used to run CI/CD pipelines for React Native builds, and provide a short case study of how you coordinated code reviews and sprint planning across time zones.
• When negotiating salary, reference recent remote React Native market data for FinTech (e.g., Glassdoor/Levels.fyi shows $130‑$165 k base for U.S. remote senior devs) and prepare a one‑page “value proposition” that ties your fintech project outcomes (e.g., reduced checkout latency by 30 %) to SYW’s Pay‑Your‑Way business goals.
