Software Engineer
WFA Digital Insight
Xero’s remote Software Engineer position sits at the heart of its product ecosystem, where engineers are expected to turn complex problems into reliable code that customers rely on daily. What makes this role distinct is the explicit focus on automating manual processes and weaving Excel‑based data flows into modern backend services – a blend that isn’t common in many pure‑tech teams. The team operates with a strong emphasis on code reviews, incident response, and continuous delivery, meaning new features reach users quickly while maintaining high quality. Candidates should be comfortable navigating a micro‑frontend architecture and be ready to contribute to both feature development and the underlying platform stability.
