About the Role
Hims & Hers is seeking a Sr. Manager, Partnerships Marketing to play a critical role across two of our highest-impact growth channels: a scaled, established affiliate program and a rapidly expanding influencer practice. This role is equal parts operator and strategist — you'll drive performance and accountability across both channels while building the infrastructure, processes, and partnerships that set them up to scale. You'll sit within the Partnerships & Affiliates team inside Growth Marketing, reporting to the Director, Partnerships & Affiliates. You'll work closely with analytics, legal, paid social, and data engineering teams, and you'll be a key voice in how the channels evolve — including the AI tooling roadmap, attribution methodology, and new partner category development. The ideal candidate has a strong performance marketing foundation, a sharp analytical mind, and the judgment to know when to optimize what's working and when to push for something new. YOU WILL: - Own the affiliate program strategy and performance outcomes, managing the day-to-day agency relationship that oversees recruitment, activation, and optimization across publisher categories including content, loyalty, cashback, comparison, and performance partners — holding the agency accountable to program KPIs and ensuring execution aligns with business objectives - Source and evaluate new partnership opportunities across emerging categories (including employer and closed-group benefits portals, co-branded integrations, and creator-adjacent models), making recommendations with a clear growth and quality rationale - Own placement and creative management, including asset coordination, partner briefing, and review cycles - Monitor program quality rigorously and respond quickly when thresholds are breached, including escalating through legal and operational channels when needed - Partner with analytics and data engineering to maintain and improve attribution accuracy, including troubleshooting pipeline issues that affect performance measurement - Collaborate with legal on partner compliance, data-sharing agreements, and any contractual matters that arise in the course of managing the program - Support the Influencer channel across key operational and strategic workstreams, including: managing creator contract renewals and scope negotiations (e.g., adjusting syndication rights, whitelisting terms); coordinating paid amplification workflows that move influencer content into Meta paid social; and contributing to creative performance analysis to identify which talent, formats, and messaging angles are driving acquisition - Lead or support cross-functional projects that extend the affiliate channel's footprint, including integrations with influencer, paid social, and brand partnership programs - Bring new ideas to improve performance — and push them through from hypothesis to test to scaled execution YOU HAVE: - 7-8 years of marketing experience, with deep expertise in affiliate marketing, ideally within a performance or acquisition-focused environment - Deep platform fluency — Impact experience strongly preferred; familiarity with tracking, attribution windows, and data passback mechanics is a must - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience - Demonstrated ability to build programs without a playbook. This candidate should be comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly as the channels evolve - Strong negotiation skills, with experience structuring agreements that deliver mutual value and align with business goals - A highly analytical, data-driven mindset, with experience measuring performance and translating insights into action - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the brand externally and collaborate cross-functionally at a senior level.- A proactive, accountable, and team-first approach.
How to Stand Out
- Highlight your mastery of Adjust attribution analytics by attaching a 1‑page case study that shows how you set up UTM parameters, tracked partnership funnels, and used Adjust dashboards to optimize CAC and ROI for a previous health‑tech or consumer brand; quantify the impact (e.g., “Reduced CPA by 22% over 3 months”).
- Prepare an Excel “partnership ROI model” (share a screenshot or a downloadable file) that includes multi‑channel revenue attribution, churn‑adjusted LTV, and scenario analysis for tiered partnership contracts; walk the interviewers through how you’d use it to prioritize high‑margin collaborations at Hims & Hers.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of the tele‑health market by referencing Hims & Hers’ product lines (e.g., hair loss, skin, sexual health) and proposing two specific partnership concepts—one with a content creator platform and one with a pharmacy benefit manager—complete with go‑to‑market timelines, KPI targets, and compliance considerations.
- Emphasize remote‑team leadership: share a brief “virtual partnership playbook” (one slide) that outlines your communication cadence, shared project boards (e.g., Asana or Monday.com), and performance reporting cadence; cite metrics such as “maintained 95% on‑time deliverables across 5 time zones.”
- When discussing compensation, research the latest public compensation data for senior marketing managers at NYSE‑listed health‑tech firms (e.g., Glassdoor, Levels.fyi) and come prepared with a salary range that aligns with Hims & Hers’ equity structure; articulate how your proven partnership revenue growth justifies positioning at the top of that range.
