Technical UI Designer
WFA Digital Insight
The Technical UI Designer role at Unknown Worlds is a rare blend of artistic polish and deep systems work, aimed at the next Subnautica experience. Unlike generic UI jobs, this position demands ownership from wireframe to final in‑game implementation, meaning you’ll translate design intent into performant UMG widgets, Blueprint logic, and responsive animations that react to gameplay events. Collaboration is front‑and‑center: you’ll work side‑by‑side with UI/UX designers, artists, and engineers, advising on whether Blueprint or native code best serves a feature. The focus on accessibility and cross‑platform performance adds a layer of technical rigor that sets this opening apart from typical game UI work.
