Video Editor
WFA Digital Insight
The Global Talent Co. is looking for a video editor who can own the entire lifecycle of podcast‑derived video content, from the long‑form recording to bite‑size social clips. What sets this opening apart is the explicit focus on repurposing audio‑heavy podcasts into visually engaging short‑form pieces across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and paid social ads. The role sits alongside a marketing team and an in‑house graphic designer, meaning collaboration is constant and the editor will influence brand tone as much as visual style. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple projects in a fully remote setting while staying ahead of platform‑specific trends and algorithm updates.

Strong editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Sharp storytelling instincts with a strong understanding of pacing, emotional impact, and audience retention—especially for short-form content.
Minimum B2 level of English proficiency (written and spoken).
Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and move quickly in a collaborative environment.
Strong creative initiative and ownership mindset from concept to final delivery.

How to Stand Out
- Assemble a show‑reel that highlights both long‑form podcast edits and the short‑form clips you’ve produced for platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
- Mention specific editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) you’re most comfortable with; include any shortcuts or plugins you regularly use.
- During the interview, be ready to discuss how you stay current with platform algorithm changes and how that influences your editing decisions.
- Emphasize your ability to work independently across time zones; cite examples of remote project management or collaboration tools you use.
- When negotiating, reference the typical remote‑work perks (home‑office stipend, health benefits) and ask how the company supports continuous learning.
- Watch out for vague promises about “flexible hours” without clear expectations on core meeting times; clarify communication cadence early.
- Tailor your portfolio captions to show the impact of each piece—briefly note the platform, format, and any audience response metrics you can share.
