Solutions Integration Architect - Jaggaer
WFA Digital Insight
At Zip, the Solutions Integration Architect for the Jaggaer ecosystem sits at the intersection of product engineering and customer delivery. The role isn’t a generic integration job; it demands deep knowledge of Jaggaer’s sourcing, e‑procurement and invoicing modules and the ability to translate messy client setups into reusable, repeatable templates. Because Zip’s platform powers procurement for high‑profile brands like Coinbase and Snowflake, the architect’s work will be reused across dozens of future implementations, making the standards they set a permanent part of the product. Candidates should expect close collaboration with engineering, product and design, and a need to balance high‑level architecture with hands‑on API work.

This role focuses on internal technical enablement, navigating complex customer environments to architect the cleanest possible solutions, partnering closely with Product, and driving best-in-class standards across all of Zip’s integration workflows - with a specific focus on the Jaggaer ecosystem. As Zip continues to scale rapidly across enterprise customers like Coinbase, Notion, Canva, Samsara, Snowflake, and Databricks, your impact will be foundational: creating reusable integration assets, defining standards of how the Zip product interacts with external systems. YOU WILL You’ll work closely with our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams while reporting to Engineering to design, maintain, and iterate on Zip-owned ERP and integration templates that power scalable, repeatable customer implementations. Your work will directly influence how hundreds of future implementations are delivered, raising the technical bar for both our EPD teams and our customer-facing technical consultant organization.
- Architect & standardize Jaggaer integrations: Design, maintain, and iterate on Zip’s core Jaggaer (Sourcing, eProcurement, and Invoicing) integration templates, ensuring they deliver scalable, repeatable, and robust customer implementations.
- Bridge product & the field: Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) to ensure integration templates stay perfectly aligned with core product architecture, field insights, and emerging customer needs.
- Turn nuance into scale: Analyze complex customer implementations to identify reusable data mapping patterns and system nuances, converting bespoke solutions into standardized internal assets.
- Support pre-sales engineering: Partner with account teams during pre-sales to design and vet integration architectures, ensuring prospective customers are set up for smooth, best-practice deployments.
- Drive technical implementation excellence: Define, document, and champion technical solution consulting best practices, raising the technical bar and driving consistency across all implementations.
- Become a Multi-ERP expert: Leverage your existing Jaggaer, P2P, and procurement systems expertise to build deep fluency across additional ERP ecosystems, ultimately becoming the ultimate subject matter expert on integration architecture, data models, and Zip’s App Studio.
- Build for permanent scale: Approach every technical challenge with an engineering mindset - designing and executing a solution thoroughly once so that future implementations happen effortlessly.
- Strong foundational knowledge of core Jaggaer business processes, workflow logic, and data models, specifically within eProcurement, Invoicing, Supplier Management, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
- Familiarity with standard Jaggaer integration methods, including Jaggaer REST/SOAP APIs, direct data transfers, and standard e-procurement data structures.
- Familiarity with iPaaS tools is preferred, but we welcome candidates with strong core integration logic who can learn new platform tools quickly.
- Experience working with cXML/ XML / REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols.
- Past ERP implementation, integration, configuration or administration experience is required.
- Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
- Comfortable working with API documentation.
- Comfortable testing and troubleshooting integration errors.
- Able to understand customer requirements and document that information quickly, with little oversight - A continual learner and open to learning new technologies that Zip may integrate with in the future.
- Strong communication skills.
- Extreme attention to detail and pride yourself in being incredibly proactive.
- Experience working with product and engineering teams.
- Process-driven with a strong bias toward continuous improvement; you consistently look for opportunities to make systems better than you found them through systematic improvement.
- 📈 Start-up equity - 🦷 Full health, vision & dental coverage - 🌴 Flexible PTO - 💻 Apple equipment plus home office budget - 💸 401k plan We're looking to hire Zipsters and that means hiring people who take ownership, communicate openly, have an underdog mindset, and are excited to increase the pace of innovation for every business in the world.
How to Stand Out
- Highlight specific Jaggaer projects you’ve delivered, including the modules you integrated and any reusable assets you created.
- Prepare a short case study that shows how you turned a complex client requirement into a standardized template.
- Be ready to discuss your process for documenting integration standards and how you ensure consistency across teams.
- Demonstrate familiarity with API design and data‑mapping tools; a quick technical exercise may be part of the interview.
- Ask about Zip’s App Studio and how integration templates are version‑controlled; showing curiosity signals long‑term interest.
- If offered equity, research Zip’s recent funding rounds to understand valuation context before negotiating.
- Watch for vague statements about “remote flexibility” without clear expectations on core hours; clarify communication norms early.
