AI training contract
Physics Expert (High Energy / Mathematical Physics)
Science & Research · USD 80-160 an hour. · 10 openings
Physics Expert (High Energy / Mathematical Physics) is contract work for micro1, reviewing and correcting what AI models produce in science & research. The output of the job is expert judgement written down: a model gives an answer, someone who knows the subject decides whether it is right and explains why.
What it requires. No credential is stated on this listing beyond experience in the field.
What it pays. USD 80 to USD 160 an hour, as published by micro1. Rates in this category track how rare the credential is rather than how hard the work is.
Where. The listing says this role is remote and names no country. micro1 says it hires talent from around the world, except people who reside in Afghanistan, Belarus, China, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Macao, Myanmar, North Korea, Russian Federation, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Ukraine, and Yemen. So this page lists every other country as eligible, on the strength of that rule and not of anything this listing says. Requirements can still differ by role, so check the application page on micro1 before you apply.
micro1 lists 10 openings on this role.
Skills named: AdS/CFT, on-shell gravitational action, Weyl-Fefferman-Graham gauge, tensor algebra of boundary curvature invariants, Physics.

Role Title: Physics Expert (High Energy / Mathematical Physics) Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Physics Experts (High Energy / Mathematical Physics) to contribute their advanced subject-matter knowledge to a frontier customer project in theoretical physics. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This engagement centers on the latest research in Holography, AdS/CFT, and Weyl anomalies in dimensions d ≤ 8. Participants may be considered for one or more distinct assignments: Solver, Auditor, or Adjudicator, depending on subfield fit and proven hands-on experience. Scope of Work Analyze research-level problems involving AdS/CFT correspondence, on-shell gravitational actions, and Weyl-Fefferman-Graham gauge frameworks. Formulate or verify complex tensor algebra expressions, particularly those involving boundary curvature invariants in dimensions up to 8. Develop, review, or adjudicate solutions related to holographic Weyl anomalies and related benchmarks in mathematical physics. Preferred Qualifications Advanced expertise in high energy or mathematical physics, with direct experience in AdS/CFT, gravitational actions, and holographic dualities. Extensive familiarity with Weyl anomalies, Fefferman-Graham expansion, and higher-dimensional boundary curvature invariants. Strong command of tensor algebra, differential geometry, and the technical machinery relevant to holographic methods. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific ideas effectively in both written and verbal formats.
