How to Stand Out
- Highlight any experience you have with programmatic advertising platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk, MediaMath) in your résumé and be ready to walk interviewers through a specific campaign you built, the targeting logic, KPI outcomes, and how you used Excel for budget pacing, ROAS calculations, and performance dashboards.
- Create a one‑page “Nexxen Playbook” case study that maps a hypothetical ad agency’s needs to Nexxen’s end‑to‑end solution (global reach, 1 billion profiles, cross‑device verification). Include a short Excel model showing projected lift vs. baseline spend; bring it to the interview as a tangible proof of strategic thinking.
- Emphasize remote‑work discipline: list tools you use daily (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Asana, Google Workspace) and give concrete examples of how you maintain pipeline visibility and client communication across time zones, especially when coordinating with creative and technical teams.
- Prepare to discuss how you’ve “evangelized” a managed service offering in the past—focus on metrics such as new‑logo acquisition, upsell rate, and churn reduction. Quantify results (e.g., “generated $1.2 M ARR in 9 months by converting three agency partners to a managed‑service model”).
- During the interview, ask data‑driven questions that show you understand Nexxen’s unique value proposition, such as: “What’s the current split between direct‑publisher buys and programmatic inventory in the platform?”, “How does the verification layer impact CPM benchmarks for agency clients?”, and “What are the top three objections agencies raise when adopting the Nexxen solution?”
- When salary negotiations arise, reference Michigan’s remote‑work market rates for senior account executives in programmatic ad tech (typically $95‑$115 k base + 10‑15% OTE). Leverage any proven revenue‑impact numbers you’ve shared to justify the higher end of that range, and ask for performance‑based accelerators tied to new‑logo or managed‑service revenue milestones.
