How to Stand Out
- Highlight mastery of industry‑standard title software (e.g., SoftPro, RamQuest, TitleWave) by attaching a short video walkthrough or annotated screenshots of a completed title commitment you produced, emphasizing accuracy checks and compliance steps you performed remotely.
- Demonstrate remote collaboration skills: include a brief case study where you coordinated with lenders, realtors, and underwriters via Zoom, Slack, and SharePoint to close a complex commercial transaction, noting response times and how you kept all parties aligned.
- Align your application with Stewart’s culture by citing specific awards (2024‑2025 Best Company to Work For, 2025 Top Workplace) and describing how you’ve contributed to inclusive, high‑performing teams—e.g., mentoring junior staff on title best practices or leading a DEI‑focused process improvement.
- Prepare for interview questions on risk mitigation by quantifying your error‑reduction record (e.g., “Reduced title defects by 18% over 12 months through a double‑review checklist and automated data validation scripts”). Bring a one‑page “Title Audit Dashboard” you built in Excel or Power BI as a tangible work sample.
- When negotiating salary, reference the 2024 National Association of Title Professionals salary survey for Commercial Title Officers (average $78‑$92K) and Stewart’s remote‑work cost‑of‑living advantage in Tennessee; propose a range that reflects your proven efficiency gains and the value of your remote‑first workflow tools.
