Construction Project Engineer (Data Center)
WFA Digital Insight
TensorWave’s data‑center construction program demands an engineer who can bridge on‑site execution with rigorous documentation. Unlike a generic project coordinator, this position sits beside the senior project manager, acting as the quality and paperwork backbone for GPU‑dense facilities that power AI workloads. Candidates will be juggling RFI logs, submittal reviews, and detailed field inspections while keeping design intent front‑and‑center. The company’s focus on mission‑critical infrastructure means the engineer’s work directly impacts the reliability of AI services. Expect a fast‑paced environment where precision, organization, and clear communication are non‑negotiable, and where familiarity with data‑center standards can set a candidate apart.
Job Description
About TensorWave
Our mission is simple: deliver seamless, secure, reliable, and resilient AI compute at scale. We've built a versatile cloud platform that eliminates infrastructure barriers, empowering builders to focus on innovation instead of fighting their stack. The work you do on-site directly enables the AI infrastructure our customers depend on.

Provide technical and administrative support to the on-site Project Manager and construction team.
Manage the RFI (Request for Information) log and process, tracking timely responses and distributing updated information to all relevant parties.
Coordinate the submittal and shop drawing review process between the construction team, engineers, and architects, ensuring design specifications are met.
Conduct detailed quality control (QC) inspections and document progress against the plans and specifications.
Assist in the preparation of RFQ (Request for Quotation) documents for developers and contractors.

Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam Revu, or similar construction management and document control platforms.
Familiarity with data center industry standards: Uptime Institute Tier Classification, TIA-942, ASHRAE thermal guidelines.
Knowledge of critical facility systems: UPS, PDU, generator plants, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH cooling, BMS/DCIM, structured cabling.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
