Content Writers - Freelancers (Casino)
WFA Digital Insight
Raketech’s call for freelance content writers is tailored to the iGaming niche, not a generic copy‑cat role. What sets this gig apart is the focus on deep‑dive sports analysis that translates tactical nuance into readable, debate‑sparking pieces. Writers are expected to pitch topics proactively, aligning with upcoming market launches, which means the job rewards initiative as much as raw writing skill. The requirement for a native Nordic language adds a regional flavor, hinting at localized audiences within the broader iGaming ecosystem. Candidates should be comfortable juggling tight deadlines while maintaining the brand’s voice and SEO standards, making the role a blend of journalism, data interpretation, and digital publishing.

How to Stand Out
- Showcase a portfolio that includes at least one deep‑dive sports analysis piece; data‑rich examples stand out.
- Highlight your native Nordic language proficiency prominently on your CV and in your cover letter.
- Prepare a short pitch for a timely sports topic before the interview to demonstrate proactive idea generation.
- Familiarize yourself with basic Excel functions for handling match stats; the recruiter may test this.
- Ask about the typical article length and turnaround time during the interview to align expectations.
- Negotiate rates based on article complexity and your experience rather than a flat hourly fee.
- Be wary of any request for upfront payment; legitimate freelance contracts are paid after delivery.
