Overview
The LIVE·TEAM is seeking a talented and versatile Designer to support our long-term partnership with the NFL, contributing to the creative delivery of one of the world’s most iconic sporting brands. This role will report to the Senior Creative Lead, NFL and sits at the heart of our creative team, working across a variety of projects spanning live event branding, large-format graphics, digital assets, and immersive environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both print and digital design, excellent art working skills, and the ability to bring ideas to life across 2D and 3D mediums. We’re looking for a mid-level designer who is collaborative, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, someone who takes direction well, designs confidently to brief, and contributes positively to the team culture. What You'll Do
- Design Execution: Create and adapt visual concepts across print, digital, and environmental formats , including large-scale graphics, signage, wayfinding, and event branding. • Art Working & Production Prep: Scale and format creative assets for various applications, ensuring design accuracy, quality, and consistency across all outputs. • 3D Design Support: Contribute to the visualization of spaces, structures, and experiences using 3D tools to help bring creative concepts to life. • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the creative, production, and client teams to develop and refine ideas that align with the NFL’s brand vision and guidelines. • Design to Brief: Interpret creative briefs effectively and deliver smart, on-brand, and innovative design solutions that meet objectives and deadlines. • File & Asset Management: Maintain organized, well-structured design files ready for production and internal review. • Flexibility: Support the creative team during key live events or site activations, assisting with design adaptations and quick-turnaround requests as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of both print and digital environments. • Skilled in scaling, formatting, and preparing artwork for production. • Solid 3D design capabilities (Cinema4D, Blender, SketchUp, or similar). • Competent across Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects a plus). • Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy. • Able to take direction, collaborate openly, and communicate effectively. • Comfortable working to structured brand guidelines while contributing creative flair. • Proactive, positive, and reliable team player with strong time management skills.
How to Stand Out
- Highlight any experience designing branding, signage, or experiential graphics for sports leagues, concerts, or large‑scale events in your resume and cover letter; reference NFL or other major sports properties by name to show you understand the brand’s visual language.
- Build a portfolio section titled “Live‑Event & Partnership Projects” that includes at least three case studies (PDF or interactive site) showing concept sketches, final deliverables, and measurable impact (e.g., fan engagement metrics, sponsor ROI); attach a short video walk‑through to demonstrate how your designs work in a physical venue.
- Demonstrate Excel proficiency by preparing a one‑page “Design Asset Tracker” sample that logs artwork versions, vendor specs, deadlines, and budget allocations; include formulas for auto‑calculating cost overruns and conditional formatting that flags overdue tasks—attach this as an appendix to your application.
- In the interview, be ready to discuss how you would collaborate remotely with cross‑functional teams across 10+ time zones; prepare a 5‑minute mock workflow showing how you would receive a brief from the NFL branding team, iterate in Figma/Adobe CC, and hand off production‑ready files to the fabrication shop using shared cloud folders.
- Research recent NFL stadium branding campaigns (e.g., 2024 Super Bowl visual identity) and come prepared with one concrete redesign idea for a fan‑zone signage system, explaining color choices, typography, and how the concept respects NFL brand guidelines while enhancing the live‑event experience.
- When negotiating salary, cite Mexico‑based remote market rates for senior designers (≈ MXN 850k–1 M annually) and add a justification based on your proven ability to reduce vendor turnaround time by 15 % in previous live‑event projects, positioning yourself as a cost‑saving asset for the long‑term NFL partnership.
