Remote Employment type: Full-timeCompensation
Commensurate with experience. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits. Generous PTO and flexible remote work. The Opportunity EducationSuperHighway closed the K-12 broadband gap by connecting 99.3% of America's public schools to high-speed internet and 5 million low-income households to affordable broadband. Now we're taking on our next impossible problem: America's reading crisis. Two-thirds of students cannot read at grade level by the end of third grade. We know how to fix it: 1:1 literacy tutoring for every first grader reading below grade level. The federal Education Freedom Tax Credit (EFTC) creates a powerful new funding mechanism: tax-credit-eligible giving through employer payroll, starting January 1, 2027. We need someone to go sell it. This is EducationSuperHighway's first corporate partnerships hire. You won't be managing a team — you'll be building the pipeline, making the calls, running the meetings, and closing the deals. You'll own the full sales cycle across two tracks: direct employer partnerships and payroll/HR platform BD. Your job is to put numbers on the board. What You'll Do Track 1: Direct Employer Partnerships - Starting from zero: build and own an outbound pipeline targeting employers with strong CSR/ESG commitments and meaningful employee donation capacity.- Run the full sales cycle yourself: cold outreach, discovery, pitch, multi-stakeholder navigation, and close.
- Sell directly to HR, Benefits, and CSR/ESG leaders at enterprise and mid-market companies, positioning the EFTC as both a transformational employee benefit and a corporate impact opportunity.
- Maintain rigorous CRM discipline and report weekly against pipeline and partnership targets.
- Build relationships with platform BD, product, and partnership teams to establish. EducationSuperHighway as a preferred SGO and giving infrastructure partner.
- Develop co-marketing and channel structures that drive long-term platform engagement..
- Partner with the Director, Program Operations, on handoffs and partner experience. What We're Looking For Required - 5+ years in B2B partnerships, enterprise BD, or platform sales with a track record of personally closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- A proven hunter: You've built a pipeline from zero, not inherited it, and you've closed in ambiguous or first-mover environments.
- Direct experience selling to HR, Benefits, or CSR leaders at enterprise or mid-market employers.
- Executive presence: You can cold-open a call with a CHRO and run a multi-threaded close across a CFO, HR lead, and CSR team simultaneously.
- Highly self-directed — you don't need a manager to set your weekly agenda.
- AI-forward: you actively use AI to prospect, research, draft, and move faster.
- Genuine passion for closing the K-12 literacy gap.
- BD or partnerships experience at a payroll, HR, or benefits technology company.
- Experience in workplace or payroll giving: you understand how employer campaigns work operationally and what makes HR teams say yes.
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot or Salesforce) and comfort with enrichment tools like Apollo, Clay, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Familiarity with corporate ESG/CSR strategy and how companies make philanthropic commitments.
Salary
$115K, commensurate with experience.- Performance bonus up to 100% tied directly to partnership closings and employee coverage targets.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
- Generous PTO and flexible remote work.
- The chance to build something from nothing and help close the K-12 literacy gap in America.
