How to Stand Out
- Create a mini‑case study showing how you’d use Snowflake’s Data Cloud to solve a specific life‑sciences challenge (e.g., speeding up genomic data analysis). Include the problem, your data‑modeling approach in Excel, how you’d integrate Snowflake’s platform, and the projected ROI. Attach the one‑page PDF to your application or bring it to the interview.
- Highlight AI‑native collaboration by preparing a short “AI‑assistant diary” (200‑300 words) that documents how you’ve used tools like ChatGPT, CoPilot, or Snowflake’s Snowpark AI to generate insights, automate Excel reporting, or prototype experiments. Share this during the interview to prove the low‑ego, experimental mindset Snowflake values.
- Show remote‑work fluency: list the exact collaboration stack you use (e.g., Teams + Slack + Notion + Miro) and give a concrete example of a cross‑border sales cycle you closed while working remotely. Quantify the timeline and the tools that kept the deal on track.
- Prepare data‑driven sales metrics in an Excel dashboard that mirrors Snowflake’s own reporting style (pivot tables, slicers, dynamic charts). Bring the live file to the interview and be ready to walk the interviewers through how you’d track pipeline health, expansion opportunity sizing, and forecast accuracy for life‑sciences accounts.
- Negotiate with Belgian market data: research the typical base‑plus‑OTE range for Expansion AEs in the life‑sciences sector in Belgium (e.g., €90‑110 k base, 70‑90 % OTE). When discussing compensation, cite this benchmark and tie your ask to measurable outcomes you can deliver (e.g., “+30 % ARR growth in the first 12 months”).
