How to Stand Out
- Highlight hands‑on experience with Nordson’s product line (e.g., EFD, VTD, or X‑Series dispensers) in your résumé and be ready to discuss a specific installation or repair you completed, including the tools used (torque wrench, multimeter, diagnostic software) and the measurable impact on the customer’s production uptime.
- Prepare a concise 5‑minute “technical showcase” video (or PDF slide deck) that walks through a real‑world troubleshooting case: describe the fault, the diagnostic steps (e.g., reading error codes via Nordson ServiceConnect, using oscilloscope traces), the corrective action, and the post‑service performance metrics. Upload it to your LinkedIn profile and reference the link in your cover letter.
- During the interview, demonstrate familiarity with remote support protocols Nordson expects: mention how you would use VPN‑based remote diagnostics, log data to Nordson’s CRM (e‑Log), and coordinate with the After‑Market team via Teams/SharePoint to schedule preventive maintenance visits.
- Emphasize your fluency in Polish and English (both written and spoken) by preparing a brief bilingual user‑training script for a typical Nordson system; bring printed copies to the interview to show your ability to create clear, customer‑focused documentation.
- When discussing compensation, reference Nordson’s market‑aligned salary bands for Field Service Technicians in central Poland (≈ PLN 80‑95 k gross) and negotiate a remote‑work allowance or travel stipend by citing the average mileage cost for service calls to Warsaw, Bydgoszcz, Poznań, and Łódź.
