Castle Rock Injury Law is a distinguished legal practice in Castle Rock, Colorado, known for its unwavering focus on personal injury cases arising from car and motorcycle accidents. Founded on a deep understanding of the complexities involved in insurance claims and legal procedures, our firm is dedicated to relieving the burdens faced by our clients as they recover from devastating accidents.
Led by an attorney with over a decade of experience as a former insurance claims adjuster, Castle Rock Injury Law prides itself on a unique insider's perspective on insurance company tactics. This comprehensive knowledge enables us to champion our clients' rights effectively, working tirelessly to secure fair compensation for their injuries and losses. Our commitment to the community and client-centric approach ensures our clients receive the personal attention they deserve, free from the distractions of legal complexities.
The Global Litigation Legal Assistant role at Castle Rock Injury Law exists to remove repetitive administrative work from the attorney’s plate so legal strategy, client communication, and AI-assisted legal work can remain the primary focus. This is not a traditional litigation paralegal role. The firm is looking for a dependable, organized, technology-forward legal assistant who can execute assigned tasks consistently, manage documents accurately, and help keep litigation files moving through strong administrative support.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, repetition, organization, and technology. Success will depend on accuracy, follow-through, comfort with AI-enabled legal tools, and the ability to complete administrative litigation support tasks independently with minimal supervision.
What you’ll do:
- Medical Record Management: Download, organize, rename, and upload medical records accurately and consistently.
- Filevine Task Execution: Complete assigned Filevine tasks independently and keep case information, documents, and task updates organized.
- EvenUp Document Support: Manage documents within EvenUp and assist with preparing organized materials for case review.
- Administrative Litigation Support: Assist with basic pleadings, filings, document preparation, and other litigation support tasks as assigned.
- Document Organization: Maintain clean, consistent naming conventions and filing practices so documents are easy to locate and review.
- Technology Adoption: Use and learn tools such as Filevine, EvenUp, ChatGPT Pro, and Briefpoint to support efficient legal operations.
- Independent Follow-Through: Work through repetitive administrative tasks accurately, reliably, and without needing constant direction.
- Written Communication: Use clear written English when documenting updates, completing tasks, and supporting internal legal workflows.
What we’re looking for:
- Administrative Legal Experience: Prior legal support experience, preferably in a personal injury or litigation environment.
- Basic Personal Injury Knowledge: Familiarity with personal injury case documents, medical records, pleadings, filings, or litigation workflows.
- Highly Organized: Strong ability to manage documents, follow naming conventions, maintain file structure, and keep tasks moving.
- Detail-Oriented: Careful, accurate, and consistent when handling records, uploads, document preparation, and task completion.
- Technology-Forward: Comfortable learning and using tools such as Filevine, EvenUp, ChatGPT Pro, Briefpoint, and other legal technology platforms.
- Independent Executor: Able to complete assigned work with minimal supervision and strong follow-through.
- Strong Written English: Able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing.
- Right-Fit Mindset: Comfortable performing repetitive administrative work and supporting the attorney behind the scenes rather than seeking substantive legal analysis or attorney-level responsibilities.
- Strongly preferred:
- Experience with Filevine.
- Experience with EvenUp.
- Experience with medical record management.
- Experience in a plaintiff personal injury firm.
- Exposure to ChatGPT, Briefpoint, or other AI-assisted legal tools.
Why you should work here:
- Focused Role: Step into a clearly defined legal support position focused on organization, execution, and administrative litigation support.
- Technology-Forward Environment: Work with a firm that actively uses modern tools such as Filevine, EvenUp, ChatGPT Pro, and Briefpoint.
- Meaningful Support: Help reduce administrative burden for the attorney by keeping documents, tasks, and litigation support work organized and moving forward.
- Independence: Own assigned tasks and execute them with minimal supervision.
- Personal Injury Focus: Support a firm dedicated to helping clients in car and motorcycle accident cases.
- Compensation:
- Compensation is expected to be approximately $1,000–$2,000 per month, depending on experience.
- Higher compensation may be considered for candidates already proficient with the firm’s technology stack, including Filevine, EvenUp, ChatGPT, Briefpoint, and medical record management tools.
Join us at Castle Rock Injury Law and play a critical role in championing the rights of individuals affected by personal injury. Your expertise and dedication will directly contribute to achieving fair outcomes for our clients during challenging times. We invite qualified candidates who are ready to make a meaningful impact to apply and become a part of our mission-driven team.
How to Stand Out
- Highlight your Excel expertise with a short “Legal Data Dashboard” sample: build a one‑page spreadsheet that tracks case deadlines, document counts, and billing hours using formulas, conditional formatting, and pivot tables, then attach it to your application or reference it in your cover letter to show you can manage complex litigation data remotely.
- Emphasize remote‑work discipline: in your resume and cover letter list the exact tools you use for virtual collaboration (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Workspace, and a secure VPN). Include a brief bullet such as “Managed a 5‑lawyer docket across three time zones, meeting 100 % of filing deadlines while working from a home office.”
- Demonstrate attention‑to‑detail with a “Proof‑Read Sample”: take a publicly available court filing (e.g., a PDF docket) and create a cleaned‑up version that corrects formatting errors, adds a table of contents, and flags missing exhibits. Upload this as a PDF link in your application to prove you can spot and fix minutiae quickly.
- Prepare for the “excited vs. run away” question by drafting a concise STAR story (Situation, Task, Action, Result) where you faced a sudden filing deadline or a last‑minute document request, describing how you rallied, the exact steps you took, and the positive outcome—showing you get energized by challenges.
- When you email any questions to recruit@crisp.co, reference the job title and include a one‑sentence “value proposition” that ties your Excel‑driven case‑management experience to Crisp Recruit’s “high‑impact, client‑rights” mission; this signals you read the posting carefully and respect their preferred contact channel.
