We’re solving complex challenges that traditional HPC can’t—and we’re seeking passionate, curious minds to help build the next wave of breakthroughs We are seeking a highly motivated Head of FP&A (financial planning and analysis) to own Rescale's FP&A function end to end. You will partner with executive leadership to translate strategy into financial plans, surface the metrics that drive the business, and bring rigor to capital allocation and operating decisions. This role will shape our financial strategy and have a significant impact on Rescale's growth. At Rescale, this means you will: - Develop and own detailed, data-driven financial models and ad-hoc analytical projects and present the results to senior management to support strategic decision-making - Generate dashboard reports that monitor KPI’s to track Rescale’s performance, and communicate trends and findings to management to highlight risks and opportunities - Develop and execute timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, partnering with the accounting team and the business on the close process, ensuring insights, risks, and opportunities are identified and communicated to all stakeholders - Perform variance analyses to ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability; identify trends; recommend actions for continual improvement - Assist in preparing QBR, Board and other investor-related materials and presentations - Continuously identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes with AI and agentic tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function What we’re looking for: - Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, or Computer Science) or equivalent. MBA or similar degree is preferred, but not required.

• 5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field - Expert financial modeling skills and extensive experience conducting quantitative financial analysis - Exceptional communication skills & the necessary confidence and poise to work effectively with senior decision makers - Experience in AI, software, software infrastructure, or cloud computing industries preferred - Advanced Excel skills and fluency with AI tools (e.g.

• Highlight complex financial modeling projects you built in Excel (e.g., multi‑scenario cash‑flow forecasts, dynamic dashboards with VBA or Power Query) and include a short, anonymized workbook in your application portfolio to demonstrate mastery of the tool Rescale values.
• Showcase experience scaling FP&A processes for high‑growth, tech‑heavy companies—quantify how you reduced budgeting cycle time or improved forecast accuracy (e.g., “cut budgeting cycle from 6 weeks to 3 weeks, increasing forecast accuracy to 95%”) to align with Rescale’s fast‑paced, data‑driven culture.
• Prepare a case study on how you partnered with engineering or R&D teams to translate technical metrics (e.g., compute‑hour utilization, AI model ROI) into financial insights; rehearse explaining the impact on strategic decisions, since interviewers will probe cross‑functional collaboration.
• Assemble a concise “FP&A impact deck” (2–3 slides) that outlines your end‑to‑end FP&A workflow, key KPI dashboards, and any automation you introduced (e.g., Power Automate scripts, cloud‑based data pipelines); bring it to the virtual interview to instantly demonstrate strategic thinking and tech‑savvy execution.
• Research Rescale’s compensation bands for senior finance leaders (e.g., base $180‑210 k + equity) and prepare a data‑driven salary proposal that ties your proven cost‑savings and revenue‑growth outcomes to market benchmarks, positioning you as a high‑impact hire worth the top range.
