- Highlight your Excel mastery by attaching a one‑page “Sales Dashboard” you built (e.g., pipeline funnel, conversion rates, revenue forecasts). Use formulas, pivot tables, and conditional formatting to show you can turn raw data into actionable insights—exactly the analytics Fiserv expects from its Business Consultants.
- Prepare a 5‑minute “FinTech Impact Pitch” that ties a specific Fiserv product (e.g., Zelle, card‑issuing platform, or digital banking suite) to a real‑world client scenario. Demonstrate you understand the ecosystem, can articulate ROI, and can sell complex solutions remotely. Bring the slide deck (PDF) to the interview and reference it when answering product‑knowledge questions.
- Showcase remote‑selling discipline: list the collaboration tools you use (Zoom, Teams, Salesforce/CRM, Slack) and give concrete metrics—e.g., “averaged 35 outbound calls/day, booked 12 virtual demos/week, closed $1.2 M ARR in Q4 2023.” Interviewers will probe for self‑management, so have a short “day‑in‑the‑life” script ready.
- Create a mini‑portfolio of success stories in a one‑page PDF that follows the STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result) and quantifies outcomes (e.g., “expanded merchant base by 18% in 6 months, increasing monthly transaction volume by $3 M”). Tailor at least one story to a Westchester‑area financial institution to signal regional market awareness.
- When discussing compensation, research the median total‑on‑target earnings (OTE) for Fiserv sales roles in the Northeast (typically $110‑$130 k base + commission). Prepare a concise value‑add statement: “Based on my proven $2 M pipeline generation and 30% YoY growth, I’m targeting a base of $95 k with a 7% commission on net new revenue.” Use this to negotiate confidently after an offer is extended.
